A Letter To An Editor
Dear Editor,
In the wake of the recent conflict in South Lebanon more focus should be placed on the global Muslim conspiracy and the effect it will have on spurring Muslim communities in western countries than to continally look for fault in the way the Israelis managed the war.
Despite the fact that the majority of conflicts take place in seemingly far away places, and irrelevant of who wins the conflict, Muslims in countries like France the UK and the USA are relayed a message that their ‘boys’ are giving the west a run for it’s money’.
This incites Muslims to do more to inflict their will on western societies. To them the civil rights movements who ‘protect’ them are simply naive entities that play straight into their hands. In a society such as theirs where respect equals fear, it is difficult to reason by using our own values which we have developed over hundreds of years.
Muslims were very ‘interested’ to notice that there was a certain element of disorder in the deployment of Israeli troops which was apparent in several areas. To them the myth of invisibility may show signs of cracking.
It is far more important that the whole west get it’s act together in the face of the continual undermining of western culture, values and security. Potentially, The EU can have the most effective force on the planet, with over 200 million people eligible for military service. That combined with the USA, Brazil, India and other western allies means that there is enough force to discourage any contenders but we must be united. We must recognize that that this Global Muslim conspiracy has many faces and guises.
The west must become one on a policy that is determined to do whatever it takes to discourage this offensive. Rogue nations such as France must be called into line and be made to state exactly where their best interests lie.
The west must work a lot more with Israel on this issue because the issue is not just an Israeli one. Israel is the gateway or the spanking boy through which Islamic fundamentalists claim legitimacy for their actions. Have we not seen through these excuses by now. Are we back in pre-school stage each time anew?
Let’s put it this way. I find it very hard to believe that Israel will launch attacks on western targets or engage western armies and send western sons home in body bags. So, maybe we should take stock of the real issue.
It may be a good idea to have a word with those who would do damage to western interests by furthering their own causes under the guise of international civil rights.
One thing I have learned, never ever judge a person before you have been in their shoes.
Understand this, it’s US versus THEM.
And to THEM, talk is cheap.
